Career and Technical Education (CTE) gives high school students the chance to get a head start on preparing for college and careers. Through CTE programs, you have the opportunity to participate in hands-on training in your chosen course and gain real world experience. Many programs offer you the opportunity to earn nationally recognized certifications which you can use to get a job to pay for college or as the start of your career. Upon the completion of the programs listed, students will be industry certified in their career and technology subject area. The certifications offered are administered through industry recognized testing partners such as, CompTIA, Pearson VUE, Certiport, NOCTI, and NCCER. As a Career & Technical Education High School‚ teams from Edison have competed and won in Annual Competitions in Auto Repair, Cisco, Graphic Arts, Visual Arts, Robotics and Science.

Our school participates in a wide variety of citywide sports activities.  We have over 20 sports teams including:
