SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
1. The deadline for submissions is December 22, 2010.
2. All submissions must be your own, original work and include your name and section.
NO anonymous submissions will be considered.
3. No inappropriate subject matter will be considered.
LITERARY SUBMISSIONS – email to innercurrentsmagazine@gmail.com. Put the
genre (poetry or prose) in the subject box. All written work must be typed in 12 pt.
Times New Roman and pasted into the body of the email. DO NOT use attachments.
- Poetry: single-spaced, one page maximum
- Prose: double-spaced, 2 pages maximum
ART SUBMISSIONS – original drawings, paintings and mounted photographs
(maximum size: 15” x 18”) should be delivered to Ms. Boone in Room 222 during
periods 1-3 or 5-8. Digital photography and computer-generated art should be sent as a
PDF to innercurrentsmagazine@gmail.com. Most art will print in B&W; some may print
in color.
CHOOSE ONLY YOUR BEST WORK – Each student may submit up to three pieces in
each of three categories (poetry, prose and art), totaling 9 maximum for any one student.
Any submission that does not follow these guidelines will not be considered.
When all submissions have been received, the selection process will begin.
