Prom Tickets Now on Sale

Prom tickets will go on sale beginning Monday, April 3rd. A ticket is $120. A deposit of $60 in cash or money order will guarantee a ticket. The prom sells out every year, do not wait to purchase your ticket!

Senior Trip Deposits

The senior trip to Hershey Park deadline has been extended to April 25th. The cost is $120, cash or money order only to Room G33. The trip is scheduled for Wednesday May 31, 2017. In order to attend the trip, All students MUST have paid their senior dues in full.

The Edison Light awarded the Best Online News Paper

The Edison Light is an online newspaper maintained by the Journalism students. It was awarded the Best Online Newspaper at the Adelphi University Press Day. Journalism student Alexandria Ganesh recieved an honorable mention for her feautured article on the website.

Every year, all parents, teachers, and students in grades 6-12 take the NYC School Survey. The survey helps school leaders understand what key members of the school community say about the learning environment at each school.

Spring Term PM School

The “PM School” program begins Tuesday, March 7, 2017 and ends on Wednesday, June 7, 2017. The course that you have been assigned is necessary to make up class you did not previously pass and is required for graduation. You have been given a copy of your program for the PM School timing and room numbers. Check links below for more information.

New Addition to Edison's Leadership Team

The Superintendent of Schools is proud to announce Stacy Conway, Kayon Pryce and Andrea Scolavino to Principal Ojeda's Leadership Team as appointed Assistant Principals effective February 7th, 2017. Parent's will have an opportunity to meet the three new Assistant Principals at the next Parent-Teacher Association meeting.

Dr. Margaret Savitzky, a CTE teacher for 14 1/2 years, was one of seven educators from schools citywide honored with the 2016 Sloan Award for Excellence in Teaching Science and Mathematics.

Class of 2017 Senior Dues

Senior dues are a requirement of all students; therefore no student will be allowed to participate in senior activities if their account is not up-to-date, including owing fundraising money for other clubs, sports or activities. Senior dues does NOT include tickets to the Prom or Senior Trip.

Ascend Educational Fund, Inc Scholarship

This spring, Ascend Educational Fund will award scholarships ranging from $2,500 to $20,000 to immigrant students and children of immigrants who are graduating from a New York City high school to attend public or private colleges and universities, regardless of ethnicity, national origin, or immigration status.
