National Technical Honor Society (NTHS)

The National Technical Honor Society serves over 180,000 student members annually. In 2015, NTHS will award over $200,000 in scholarships to career and technical education students. NTHS honors the achievements of top CTE students, provides scholarships to encourage the pursuit of higher education, and cultivates excellence in today’s highly competitive, skilled workforce.

Its purpose is to encourage an interest and understanding of science and science-related careers, as well as to recognize academic achievement in the science of high school students.

The Student Council is in charge of overseeing all the extracurricular activities within the Edison School Community. The executive officers, and members-at-large act as liaisons between the student body and the administration of the school. The Student Council helps plan trips, clubs, and other schoolwide activities.

Teens at Service

Teens at Service is a school club where students participate in various community service events to give back to their community. Teens at Service is a club whose sole purpose is to help. The members find worthy causes within the school and community and perform acts of service, such as parks clean-ups, charity walks. Toys for Tots and the TCS New York Marathon
